Based on the real events that happened in the State of Alabama, where the US Government conducted research that began in 1932 and was prolonged up to 1972. The experiment monitored the evolution of syphilis in black male patients, who were mislead and never given any anti-syphilitic treatment, and their caring nurse who was sworn to secrecy.
